THE ADVENTURES OF MARY BROWN

A chance meeting with an old school friend sends Mary Brown off on three fabulous adventures. First, it’s to a safari in South Africa. She arrives dressed like Meryl Streep in Out of Africa and ends the trip up stuck in a tree wearing nothing but her knickers.
Next, she’s off on a cruise: It’s the trip of a lifetime, featuring eat-all-you-can buffets and a trek through Europe with a 96-year-old widower called Frank and a friendship with a flamboyant Spanish dancer called Juan Pedro. There are a few issues to be dodged – like the ex-boyfriend who’s on the boat. Happily, there’s a handsome captain to distract her and some wonderful countries to enjoy.
Her final trip is to find inner peace on a yoga weekend. Mary’s never done yoga before, but how hard can it be? A bit of chanting, some toe touching and a new leotard. Easy! She heads for the countryside to get in touch with her chi and her third eye. And that’s when it all goes wrong.
